Hai, i want to know how we can develope applications in windows mobile. I don't have VS2005, so i came to that pockect pc 2003 SDK.i have installed in my system(desktop).also i have installed Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Emulator Images for Pocket PC - WWE.msi for the emulator images. When i connect the my emulator using platform VS2003.NET, by tools- connect to device, For this, Do we need the real Pocket PC? What i planned is, first lets check with the emulator image to my application, is it ok means i will buy Pocket PC.
For checking itself we need real PPC.is it correct? Pls guide me what i have to do.i am currently working in connnecting barcode scanners to PPC. for this i am testing with the emualtor image. You can develop, run and debug on an emulator, but you DO have to buy or test in physical devices. Pocket PCs are not like desktop PCs. OEMs can customize the devices a lot. Are you using.NETCF or are you writing C code?
